For Australian customers: with the current exchange rate I have branched out to include an Australian print service. To order your prints simply contact me and we will complete your transaction.
Q. Why are the print prices in US dollars?
A. The image prices are in US dollars because my site is hosted by an American company. Also all my images are printed in America.
Q. Why is your site hosted in the US?
A. I went with Smugmug as my site host because the price, customisation, ease of use and customer support was superior to local providers.
Q. Who prints your images?
A. My images get printed in America by ez prints.
Q. Why do you get your prints from America?
A. I have found that the print quality and customer service is much better than local photo labs.
Q. Why do you charge what you do for prints?
A. Photography may be a hobby for me but it's expensive! I charge for prints to cover the cost of travel, site entry, equipment, and my time.
Q. The images are priced in US$ what does it cost in AUS$?
A. It probably doesn't cost as much as you think. The price will vary from day to day depending on the exchange rate. Check out
xe.com for up to date figures. At the moment it is very cheap to buy US!

A. I use Lustre paper exclusively because it is superior to gloss and matte!
Q. Is there a print guarantee?

Q. What equipment do you use?
A. I use a 10mp Nikon D80 with a 18-200mm lens. The programs I use for processing are Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop. I also use a Whibal white balance card to help keep the colours correct.
Q. Do you shoot in RAW of Jpeg?
A. I photograph everything in RAW! This allows me to process each image the way I want in Adobe Lightroom and export a finished Jpeg to my site.
Q. Doesn't shooting in RAW take more time?
A. It does take a little longer to process than a Jpeg but, the quality is much better!
Q. Why does it take you so long to post images to your site?
A. I apologise for any inconvenience due to my processing time. I work full time in another job and only get to work on my photos after hours and on weekends. All I can ask is please be patient, the images well be finished as soon as possible.
Q. Why don't you sell CD's at the event?
A. I don't sell CD's of images at the event because I do shoot in RAW. It's simply not feasible to do so on the day of the event.
Q. Why don't you have a photo of me?
A. While I try to photograph all participants I don't always achieve it. If you would like a photo taken of yourself, let me know, send me an
Email or approach me at the event.
Q. Why can't I right click and save my image?
A. Because that is illegal! If you want the image you should purchase a print of it.
