Hello and welcome to my site!
My name is Colin Butterworth. I live in Australia, in the picturesque state of Tasmania.
I got into photography when my grandfather gave me his old SLR (Asahi Pentax spotmatic SPII). I had no idea how to use it at the time, so i took a photography class in College. After I left school I let my photography slide until I got myself a Digital camera in 2005. I found a renewed passion with this new technology, and have been taking photos ever since.
This website is my way of showing my images to the world. I try to photograph a wide array of subject matter. I hope that you find them interesting and appealing. Photography is a wonderful past time for me. I have a lot of fun when I take photos and it's a great way to relax.
I've met some wonderful people who are also interested in photography. The advise, inspiration and friendship I have gained through Photoforum, has been fantastic.
